World kindness day today - what thoughtful gestures will you share with yourself? And is there space to send some loving kindness to nurture another? I hung out with my beautiful friend Selina βœ¨πŸ™. We attended the YMCA and did the 8:30am Pryme class ❀️. And now taking my daughter for a dip in the ocean 🌊

🌿 A Practical Tip for This Week:

Take a stroll outdoors and notice the little changes around you, how the plants and trees shift with the seasons, the scents that fill the air, and how the sun and breeze feel on your skin. Savour the present moment.

As we discussed in class, spring is a perfect time to enjoy the sun, kick off your shoes and feel the earth beneath your feet. Excellent for balance and grounding!

This week, we are focusing on Twisting poses in our classes. It's important to approach twisting poses with mindfulness and proper alignment to avoid strain or injury. Come to my Tuesday night class or Saturday morning class and practice safely to receive the full benefits of twisting poses.

Here are 3 benefits I spoke to you about yesterday....

Spinal Mobility: Twists involve a twisting motion of the spine, which can help improve its mobility and flexibility. This can be particularly beneficial for individuals who spend long hours sitting or have a sedentary lifestyle or driving a BUS :)

Improved Digestion: Twisting poses can massage and stimulate the organs in the abdominal area, including the liver, kidneys, and digestive organs. This can help improve digestion and alleviate issues like bloating and constipation.

Detoxification: Twists are believed to help with detoxification by wringing out toxins and waste products from the organs. This can contribute to a cleaner, more efficient system.
