The Margaret Whtilam Recreation Centre is a Waverley council managed facility.

The July school holiday program is underway with places in the program selling out fast. Places for still available in the following sessions for 9-13 yr olds.

Cricket and t-ball - Wed 10th -10.30-12:30
Netball - Tue 9th - 2pm to 4pm
Oz-tag - Wed 3rd - 2pm to 4pm
Four Sport Friday - Fri 12th - 9am to 12pm
Soccer Skills - Thur 4th - 2pm to 4pm

Waverley Council - School holiday activities The Margaret Whitlam Recreation Centre runs a variety of active recreation and sports activities as part of Waverley Council's school holiday programs. The centre's multipurpose indoor sports court plays host to a variety of activities that cater for children from as young 3 years up to youth.

We are pleased to announce we have a new mens Futsal competition starting in the indoor sports court on Saturday 13th July. Games will be played between 3 and 5pm. Registrations are still open. Did you know that four "Home" clubs share use of Waverley Oval and the centre's sporting facilities through the winter season. They are Waverley RFC, Maccabi RFC, UTS Bats AFL club and Bondi Utd Rugby League Club. We will be introducing you to the home clubs in more detail, as the winter season progresses.
