I remember the first time I came across the writing of Anais Nin, in my early 20's. What an incredible woman. This quote is so profound, and now it feels beautiful that the Heart Alchemy process maps the 4 initiations of courage to open the heart and step into your greatest leadership.

I'm seeing many people becoming demoralised by the state of the world, and losing their mojo. Remember that in the darkest times you get to be the light. I truly believe that we don't get given dreams without also being blessed with a way to achieve them. However we can get caught up in knots if we believe we need to have it all figured out before taking the first step. When I need to reset I think of myself on a journey. Where am I now? Where do I want to go? What is the next step I can take to move towards that outcome? The minute you take the next step, you will begin to feel better. Now you're getting the ball rolling, take a few steps, then pause to reassess and keep going. You've got this.

Your entire life is mediated through your attention. What are you attending to? Is your conscious attention in the present moment? Inside your body in the here and now? Or is it ruminating on the past or worrying or ruminating on the future? Where your attention goes, energy flows, so be mindful of where and what you're placing your attention on. Because your life depends on it.
You can’t be successful and fulfilled without personal power, clear communication and heartfelt connection with your partner, family, team and social circles. Thoughts?

And you’re in a crew who care primarily about income; growing revenue, profit, growing businesses to sell… and the money you get in your back pocket at the end of ther day.
You’re in the wrong crew for your purpose.
Of course income and impact are connected.
How they are connected depends on many factors.
In every person there is a natural lean, between service to self or service to others/tribe. Despite what people will tell you, ultimately neither is better or worse.
But being in a group that leans the opposite way to you can be devastating.
All the advice will feel slightly off, it’s hard to pin-point at first, because the actions and strategies might be exactly the same for someone leaning to impact, and someone else leaning to income.
The difference is the intention behind it. The difference is the crew that you hang out with. The difference is what you count as success. The difference is the values you live by instrinsically.
