2 years ago, almost to the day, led her first 200-hour Now Yoga Teacher Training. โก๏ธIt was an intensive month of training with 5 keen and dedicated students. It was by no means easy for anyone (including Thy!), but it was incredibly rewarding and fulfilling. โจ
Cut to yesterday (Feb 5). Thy taught a class for her current TT group (3rd batch of trainees) and her former trainees from the previous 2 trainings joined in. ๐ฅฒ What is most special, is that the 4 lovely people pictured here, who many of you know and love! - not only completed Yoga Teacher Training with Thy, but their hard work, dedication, and passion for sharing Yoga with others, landed them a coveted spot (or few spots!) on the Now Yoga teaching schedule! ๐
When you get to teach classes at the yoga studio you started off at as a student- thatโs really something. ๐ซ
Didnโt get a chance to train with Thy but really wanted to? Youโre in luck! Sheโs planning on leading more Yoga Teacher Trainings and courses in the future. Follow her for updates! โ๏ธ

Our thoughtsโฆ
๐๐จ๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ญ๐ ๐ญ๐จ ๐๐๐ฅ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ญ๐.
We acknowledge the Gadigal people of the Eora Nation as the traditional custodians on the land on which we gather as a yoga community. We pay our respects to Elders past, present and emerging, and we also extend that respect to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.

Many Aussies have grown up seeing Australia Day as one of patriotism, the uniting of Australians, and celebrating the freedoms and pastimes of our country. The reality is that this day is โInvasion Dayโ. January 26, 1788, is the anniversary of the arrival of the First Fleet in Australia. For many Indigenous, as well as non-Indigenous Australians, January 26th is a date that signifies the beginning of dispossession, frontier violence, destruction of culture, exploitation, abuse, separation of families and subjection to policies of extreme social control. Consequently it is not seen as a day of celebration, rather, one of mourning.
We are not here to judge however you choose to mark this day; some will celebrate, some will protest, some will refuse to acknowledge the day, and others will take it as an opportunity to recognise and celebrate Indigenous culture.
We reflect, with gratitude, on how lucky we are to be living in this incredible and beautiful country and deeply acknowledge the pain and suffering that Indigenous communities had to endure.
We will be running 2 classes tomorrow: 8:30am Now and 10am Flow. See our website or the Momence app to book.

In April 2015, I didnโt just see a beautiful blank canvas full of potential. I saw a place where everyone and anyone was welcome; without exception. Together, weโd share and explore the magic and power of Yoga.
In September 2015, I began to bring my vision to life. Creating a place - a Yoga studio that fostered inclusivity, accessibility and personal growth; where one could look inwards and be reminded you are perfect- as you are. A place where Community was created by Yoga teachers and students alike, enveloped by love, compassion, kindness, patience and endless hope and optimism. ๐
So many things didnโt go to โplanโ, but they didnโt need to. In my heart, the things that truly mattered, did work out. Iโll share more at some point. But for now, Iโll enjoy looking back so that I can move forwards.
