It's been a long time since I've posted on RTTE, but on the eve of a long overdue ride weekend I've been thinking about how important it is to get out and spend time doing the things you love. Ride to the Edge
Take to the road with the Ride to the Edge team during their annual ride event to show your support
Founded in 2016, Ride to the Edge is a not-for-profit organization whose primary goal is to engage with the broader community about the challenges presented by mental illness. Using motorcycles as a vehicle to promote mental wellness, the RTTE team aim to bring the realities of depression and anxiety to light, show support for those of us living with these terrible illnesses, and promote positive mental health.

Any serious rider will agree that wheels are wheels, no matter the capacity. Wanna put a smile on your dial? Have a crack on one of these mini rockets.
We've been playing with Benelli's new TnT125; a new challenger to the Honda Grom and Kawasaki Z125.
So what does the Benelli have that the Japanese bikes don't? Four valves instead of two, a five-speed transmission, a combined-braking system and around 10 per cent more grunt. Not bad.
We have a full review in the works, but we're more than happy to answer questions here. Fire away.

So the maps have finally come out and I'm starting to crunch the numbers again. I'm hoping to get a group together for this year and this is what I'm thinking of running. My goal is to offer a solid, yet somewhat challenging ride that will give those of you who wouldn't normally undertake long adventures a taste of what it's like. Expect camping, amazing scenery, mateship (some drama for sure) and everything else that comes with two wheeled adventure! Hey everyone. Here's a video I've put together of some of the helmet cam footage from days 1 to 24 of RTTE. It's really hard to capture the spectacle of undertaking a trip like this so take what you can from it. This video features a song titled "Beyond the Blues" which was written especially for Ride to the Edge by Ethan Joe. I'll upload the song on its own later so you can hear it on it's own; it's a really nice representation of what motivated me to undertake this journey to support beyondblue.
Also, friday is the day that donations for RTTE officially close.

It's been fun going through the photos and videos captured during this epic journey. It continually amazes me how incredibly harsh and at the same time beautiful this country is.
