🏋️‍♀️ Sutherland Leisure Centre Upgrades - Gym & Outdoor Amenities Staged Works

We'll be providing regular updates to help keep our community informed about gym and outdoor amenities availability throughout the project.

Stage 1: Cardio Area
📅 Monday 20 July - Friday 31 July 2026

During this stage, the cardio area will be temporarily unavailable, with gym reception temporarily relocated to the front reception area.

The good news? There's still plenty of ways to stay active:
✔️ Weights room and stretching areas remain open at Sutherland Leisure Centre
✔️ Group fitness classes continue as scheduled - it’s a great opportunity to try something new!
✔️ We welcome you to use the gym facilities at Engadine Leisure Centre

Join our Leisure Centre and Ocean Safety & Lifeguard teams on Saturday 25 July for World Drowning Prevention Day and enjoy a fun and educational hour of water safety activities, CPR awareness, rescue games, giveaways and practical tips for the whole family.

There may even be a special appearance from Lily the Lifeguard!

Whether it's the backyard pool or one of the many beautiful waterways across the Sutherland Shire, knowing how to stay safe around water can save lives.

📢 Service Update - Engadine Leisure Centre

Our lift is currently unavailable due to a technical issue.

Repairs are expected to take up to two weeks due to replacement part availability. Our team is working closely with the technician to get the lift back up and running as soon as possible.

If you need any assistance accessing the centre, navigating the ramp or carrying bags, please speak with our friendly team.
