Moksi (Yoga dog) pranams to Sharon Gannon. The Wow moment. 24/10/2025

All beings are woven from the same fabric of consciousness, the eternal awareness that pervades the universe. Dogs, like all sentient beings, dwell within this divine field, attuned not through intellect but through vibration, through prāṇa, the subtle breath of life that unites us all.

Those who walk the path of yoga cultivate an inner radiance, a current of Shakti that refines the field around them. Their calm breath, their centered mind, and their steady presence create ripples of harmony in the unseen layers of existence. Dogs, with their open hearts and heightened sensitivity, instinctively recognize this energy. They gravitate toward it, resting near practitioners, mirroring their stillness, and soaking in the tranquil resonance that yoga and meditation generate.

In this way, the dog becomes both witness and participant in the sacred exchange of energy, soothing, balancing and uplifting. When our vibration aligns with peace, all beings around us are healed. I attribute this to our dearly missed Saskya who lived 18 years of bliss as living proof. YogaCoach Sydney Corporate Yoga Manumission Yoga Maya Yoga Studio Tara Maniar

Guardians in Disguise.

In the remote trails of the Himalayas, locals swear by a chilling tale:
When the mountains test you, and the paths grow wild, a dog will appear.
Not a stray. Not by accident. But a spirit of the highlands.

Trekkers whisper of nights when they lost their way,
no map, no signal, only silence.
And then, out of nowhere, a dog emerged.
Walking ahead. Pausing at turns. Leading them home.

Some call them the souls of shepherds who never left.
Others believe the mountains themselves send messengers in fur.
They’re called many things: furry angels. Guides of souls. Protectors of the lost.

But one truth remains:
no compass feels as safe as a dog,
quietly taking the lead on a trail that could have been your last.

What do you believe? myth, miracle, or mountain magic?

HAPPINESS IS YOUR OWN CREATION
Yoga does not encourage a monastic life.
By practicing yoga, you unveil the mysteries of the mind layer by layer. Finally, you reach that center of tranquility where you can listen to the eternal song spontaneously sung by the Divine within you. From the core of that quietude, you bring that music into the outer layers of your being and infuse your total well-being with that inner music. This is what will enable you to make your mind become steady and one-pointed. This will also help your body and senses to hear and heed the voice of your soul.

The Baja Aftermath 18/05/2024

I have had the opportunity to travel in Mexico several times. In the 90s, despite being advised against it, we hired a car and ventured out. On our most recent trip, as we made our way to the airport in the pre-dawn darkness, we witnessed a harrowing scene: a policeman lying on his back in the road. Our driver did not stop.

This tragic and unfortunate incident is deeply saddening and serves as a stark reminder of the dangers that can arise. It underscores the need for vigilance and awareness in all our travels.

The event was eerily reminiscent of a scene from a crime drama like "Breaking Bad," highlighting the stark reality that sometimes accompanies our adventures.

The Baja Aftermath What does it mean for us when three traveling surfers are killed on holiday?
