📣 Updated Competition Dates - As of 1st June

🚨 WET WEATHER UPDATE 🚨

Sutherland Shire Council has CLOSED fields for Saturday 30 May and Sunday 31st May.

As a result, all MiniRoos and Competition fixtures will be RESCHEDULED.

Following consultation with our 26 member clubs, and with the majority of clubs in agreement, Saturday Round 9 fixtures will now be played on:

📅 Monday 8 June (June Long Weekend)
⚽ MiniRoos Fixtures
⚽ Competition Fixtures
meaning U6-U18 will play both Saturday 6th and Monday 8th of the June Long Weekend.

All Sunday Round 9 Fixtures will be Rescheduled to Sunday 21st June (weather pending)

All Sutherland Shire Council turf playing fields are closed for training, competition and school use from today, Wednesday 27 May to Friday 29 May (inclusive), due to wet weather conditions and forecast rainfall across the week.

Due to wet weather conditions, all games and training on the Box Road fields are cancelled today, Monday 25 May.

💗 PINK FOR PURPOSE 💗

Over the past two weeks, Sylvania Heights FC proudly celebrated Women In Football Week through our Pink for Purpose fundraiser, and what an incredible effort it was from our entire club community.

Our fields have never looked so pink! From pink socks and ribbons, to bake stalls and team spirit, everything single team got behind this special event and helped create an amazing atmosphere across the club.

Together, we raised a total of $3,561.80 for two very special local charities, and we couldn't have done it without the support of so many amazing people.

A huge thank you to our major sponsor Donna Etchells- McGrath Estate Agents , along with Big Lolly, Christopher's 1953 , Bakers Delight, and every parent who donated delicious goodies for our cake stalls and fundraising efforts.

We would also like to thank Eleni Petinos MP, Councillor Haris Strangas, Laura Cowell (President) & Jeff Stewart (CEO) of Sutherland Shire Football Association for coming along and supporting our Pink for Purpose weekends and helping us celebrate Women in Football week within our community 💗

A special acknowledgement also to our incredible charity partners, Bay Babes and The Family Co. for the amazing work they do within our local community.

Most importantly, thank you to every player, coach, manager, volunteer, parent and supporter who helped make Pink for Purpose such a success.

This is what community football is all about - coming together, supporting one another and making a difference!

Behind every training session, every game day, every packed sideline and every smiling player at Sylvania Heights FC, there’s a team of volunteers making it all happen 💚💛

National Volunteer Week is a chance to recognise the people who give their time so generously to our club - not for recognition, but for the love of the game, our players and our community.

To our committee members, coaches, managers, and all the helpers behind the scenes - thank you for the countless hours, early mornings, late afternoons and everything in between.

Your effort helps create a club environment where players can grow, friendships are formed and our football community continues to thrive.

Sylvania Heights FC simply wouldn’t be the same without you.
