Would you rather…
Cut back on your food intake or eat more of what you love? ❤️
I know what I prefer. It’s a funny one, you want to eat and love food but you also want to stay healthy, fit and have a good physique. Where is the in between? How can we love what we eat and also not feel restricted.
My answer is to train more…I have always lived by this and I guess it’s the old do more, eat less…less input more output which you hear many PTs saying.
I love my food and I really struggle to cut back, I am not about cutting things out or cutting back so I tend to just focus on eating more nutrient dense foods, macros (protein, carbs and fats) and micros (fruits, veg). I don’t tend to track but now that I’m training for the half marathon and wanting to trim myself up, I have been keeping an eye on what I put into my body, this includes less high calorie dense foods, focusing on protein with each meal, snacks consisting of nuts and fruit. The weekends I tend to give myself some leeway 😜, but I still stay on top of my training!

Invest in your development
☑️ Invest time, take yourself away from the craziness of life and do something you like doing. Sometimes doing this on your own is good for your soul.
☑️ Invest money, that can be into personal training/gym/fitness coach. Getting yourself fit and learning through professionals. It could be the best thing you’ve ever done.
☑️ Invest in therapy, what better way to invest in yourself then by investing in your mind and your own personal growth. Learning who you are, learning if you are doing/thinking about things in the right way.
☑️ Invest in a mentor, some one who can help you develop in your career/profession. What things might you be missing, what haven’t you learnt yet?
☑️ Invest in that course you’ve always wanted to do. Learn something new, develop your brain and knowledge.
There is so much you haven’t learnt yet, there are so many areas where you haven’t developed or grown. If you feel stagnant or stuck it’s because you’ve stopped growing.
We only get one chance, don’t wait… 🩷

Create your own narrative. You are the narrator.
In life you have choices, you allow yourself to be around people that love you or people that hurt you.
You allow yourself to stay in a toxic situation.
You allow yourself to choose who you spend your time with.
You allow yourself to hold onto grudges.
You allow yourself to live the life that you live.
You allow yourself to get annoyed at the small things.
You allow yourself to hold on.
You allow yourself to judge people or to feel judged by people.
You allow yourself to care.
You allow yourself to keep doing the same thing over and over again.
Allow yourself to take a leap.
Allow yourself to forgive.
Allow yourself to let go.
Allow yourself to make a change.
Allow yourself to grow.
It’s your decision what you do and how you want to live your life. You won’t always get it right and you won’t always impress people.
Cut the crap, work on yourself and trust the process 🩷✌🏻

Hi Guys 👋🏻, people call me Frankie, Franks and some call me Frank 🐸.
I am a qualified personal trainer and group instructor. I started my fitness career when I first moved to Australia in 2015. I’ve worked in Fitness First & F45 and was also Head Coach of Orangetheory Fitness in Bondi. From there I started coaching individuals 1:1 and this is where I found my passion, in helping people become fitter and healthier and to live a better lifestyle.
I’ve always been super passionate 🩷 about fitness and have come along way since I started my fitness journey.
I have a background in dance and rugby and these days I love taking part in as many sports as I can. 🎾🩰👟🏈🏃🏼♀️

Give Blood, Save Lives
Did you know that when you give blood you are saving 3 peoples lives? How crazy is that. What more could you give back to the world then giving people the chance to live.
I gave blood this week in Oz and it’s such a rewarding feeling. Also can’t rave enough about how good have been with providing all the amenities for you when you go to give your blood. Plus the app is super cool too.
I really love giving blood and will now go as regularly as I can. There is a shortage of people giving blood since covid so if you’re feeling up to it then go give some blood! It’s not scary at all and you also find out so much about your blood/health too!
There’s only 5% of people in Australia with my blood 0 negative so this means it’s even more key to go give your blood! Let’s save lives together!

I just noticed something…
I came across two posts today that are from different accounts which give you two different messages. One telling you to basically harden up and get on with it. And the other telling you to slow down and take it easy.
I follow both of these accounts and I like both. But sometimes it’s hard to know what to think or what to do in life. I think a lot of it is down to how you feel at the time of when you are scrolling. It can be confusing.
My best advice is to go with what feels best for you. ❤️
Sometimes you do need to get on with it, sometimes you mustn’t quit and you just need to push through. But other times it’s ok to slow down, it’s ok to rest, it’s ok to feel your emotions and it’s ok to take it at your own pace.
Either way you got this!

For those that enjoyed following my body building journey, I have decided to park it for now. I hit a few walls last week mentally and I decided that it’s just too much to take on with the new job that I have recently started. My priority is my career rather than getting on stage in great condition. I think sometimes you need to figure out what’s making you happy and what isn’t, what you can balance, what you can sacrifice and give up. And for me I’ve decided I want to live a fun life, work as hard as I can in my job, eat what I want, go out wherever I want and not be thinking about food the whole time. I will keep up my training of courrrseee but I think I’ll be doing more group based things where I can meet people and socialise. I might pick up body building once I am more settled in this job. But for now it’s taking a back seat. I will keep posting on her, so keep following meeee because I loveee training! ❤️🤸🏼♀️🏋🏼♀️🏃🏼♀️❤️
