United Islamic Foundation invites you all to take part in the Arba'een Al-Hussain (as) Walk-a-Thon this September 18th. Let us all come together, young & old, as a community to experience a tiny glimpse of what it's like to walk from Najaf to Karbala & flock as one to revive the message of Aba A'bdillah.
We invite you to the Sofrat of Imam Hussain (as) along the walk. Various stalls with food, drinks & more will be set up on the day as generosity towards the pilgrims during Arb'een is tantamount.
The event will be open to the public & set out in the form of a Walk-a-Thon, where pilgrims are required to walk around the selected venue 40 times in order to complete the walk from Najaf to Karbala! Each lap will be stamped on supplied cards in order to not lose track. Posts, signs & Mawakeb will be set up on the day to guide all.
