2026 JKFGA National Championships QUIZ 23/03/2026

Hello to all officials (referees, admin, table officials, marshals) and coaches/instructors.

(NB: Senior Instructors: Please send this onto all of your members who want to be involved in these roles and help out on the day)

We are just 6 weeks away from the 2026 JKF Goju Kai Australia National Championships!

We have been working to make this a successful event and would appreciate your support in the following areas:

1. Competitors from you dojo (remember, we run age groups and experience levels so all students are able to participate!)
2. Providing officials to support and help run the event (referees, table officials, marshals)

With everyones help we can promote and run a successful event for the JKFGA.

OFFICIALS / COACHES QUIZ

We have an OFFICIALS QUIZ that all officials (judges, referees) and coaches must complete.

The quiz can be done here: bit.ly/JKFGA-QUIZ-2026

I have attached the rules and guidelines below. Please be sure to read the document and familiarise yourself with the rules before taking the quiz.

REFEREE DRESS CODE

Officials professionalism and presentation is important.

Referees are to wear grey pants, white shirt, and JKFG tie (ties will be provided to all qualified referees that do not have one). A 'qualified referee' has completed / passed the 2026 tournament quiz.

NB: Regardless of whether you have done the quiz in previous years, you have to complete the 2026 quiz.

Officials (table officials, marshals) are to wear grey pants, and will be provided with a JKFGA officials t-shirt to wear.

Black socks, black dress shoes will be permitted on the mats.

NEXT STEPS

1. Promote the Championships to your club students and go through the rules as described in the rules and guidelines with them. Students need to ensure that they have the required sparring equipment.
2. Please pass this onto the people that want to be confirmed officials and ask them to complete the quiz.
3. Please email me with a list of judges and officials that will be able to help on the day.

*** The closing date for the tournament is Monday 13th April *** (NB: LATE ENTRIES WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED)

Any questions, please reach out via email ([email protected]).

Thank you.
