Most parents want to help their child succeed in basketball… but sometimes the smallest things said on the sidelines or after games have the biggest impact 🏀💭
Confidence, enjoyment, effort, resilience and mindset are all shaped at home too.
Pressure doesn’t usually help young hoopers perform better.
Support does.
Some of the best things you can remind your child:
• trust the work they’ve put in
• compete hard
• enjoy playing
• focus on defence, effort & team basketball
• stop worrying about what everyone else thinks
At the end of the day, kids play their best when they feel supported, confident and free to compete 💯
Save this for later ❤️🏀

More than just trainers 🏀💯
One thing we take pride in at AET is the quality of people leading our athletes every day.
Our coaches have played — and some still play — at high levels of basketball. But what matters most is the standard they bring into every session.
Attention to detail.
Energy.
Accountability.
Care for every athlete in the gym.
We want young hoopers to be surrounded by coaches who not only understand the game, but also set the example with how they communicate, lead, and carry themselves.
That’s what builds a strong community and a positive environment for players to grow in 🔥
Grateful for the crew we’ve built at AET ❤️🏀

A lot of players work hard… but still have holes in their game 🏀
Sometimes it’s not a lack of effort — it’s WHAT you’re training.
If you only train one speed, avoid contact, never make reads, or constantly stay in your comfort zone… those weaknesses will show up in games.
Real development comes from:
✔️ learning pace
✔️ making decisions
✔️ embracing physicality
✔️ training weaknesses
✔️ competing with others
Basketball isn’t just about skills.
It’s about learning how to apply them under pressure 💯
Which one do you think hurts players the most? 👀⬇️
