Tradition – 전통 (Jon Tong ) – As one of the Five Moo Do Values, traditions help to keep our spirits strong and strengthen our identity. They are also a good way of keeping memories alive. Interestingly, some of the best traditions can also be the hardest to maintain. They take discipline and courage to hold on to, and to not let slip away with the passing of time.

A few years ago we lost our dear friend Jim Kehoe SBN. To mark his birthday, and to keep his memory alive, each year we celebrate with burpees; the number of burpees representing how old he would turn if he were still with us. This was a tradition that Kehoe SBN started himself when he performed 70 burpees on his 70th birthday. We continue that tradition every September in his honour. Happy birthday Kehoe SBN.
