The Bombers fought back from a 2 goal deficit in the 3rd period to tie the game with the Newcastle Northstars on Sunday.
This top of the table clash was nothing short of a spectacle.

🚨 BOMBERS WIN🚨

The Bombers have emerged victorious after tonight’s contest with the Reach Rebels. It was a strong two was marathon that saw plenty of shots, hits, goals and saves.

The Bombers have kept their streak alive and look forward to facing the Newcastle Northstars on 31st May, 6:15pm @ LCC ice Rink.

Congratulations to both forward Sam Sywak and affiliate goaltender Kai Stolee who have been selected to represent the New South Wales U18 Tange team at the upcoming National Championships.

In addition, head coach Danny Soo will take the helm behind the bench for the U15 De Fris team, while assistant coach Andrew Byrnes was named as an assistant with the U13 Ginsberg team.

The 2026 National Championships take place in Newcastle at Hunter Ice Skating Stadium from July 10 - 19.

Sam Sywak's 2026 so far:

- Represented Australia at the U18 World Championships
- Represented New South Wales at the U20 State of Origin
- Made his AIHL debut for the Central Coast Rhinos
- Made his ECSL debut on the same day scoring his first ECSL goal
- Scored his first AIHL goal vs Newcastle

Now he's been voted as the Skaters Network ECSL Player of the Month in his very first month in the league.

And it's still only May.
