Was I on to something back in 1988.Got my Ronnie Woodward custom when he was shaping for Aloha surfboards and was about to fly out to W.A for the APSA events. I was riding up to go for a surf and my fin got wedged in my back wheel and took of the tip off the side fin . Didn’t have time to get it fixed so I went over there for the month and ended up with a 1st at Triggs point and a semi final in another one. Came back to Sydney and went on to win the duke classic at freshwater. Finishing up second on the APSA ratings for 88 . Got the fin fixed and went for a surf and didn’t surf it again . It just wasn’t the same. Might have to buy a set and see how they go.

Been some pretty insane sessions of late here in the woods.Our Lil man Van on 1 of many waves he scored in the last 48 hrs. All the kids have been very impressive with there commitment to some crazy waves .

Massive big thank you to and to the life members who voted for me for this award ,and to my best mate who presented it me Life Member . Fark Yeah, I wish i did a speech but i was totally speechless and couldn’t . What a night we had for 60yrs of the club that means so much to me and my family. 💀☠️🏴‍☠️
