My tenth fight against tough and experienced (20-7-2) Argentinian Raul Eduardo Bejarano. My first ten rounds fight. Busted my left hand against Raul’s head.
Next morning I woke up at 6am but was able to get up at about 10am. I didn’t know I had those muscles in my body. Everything was hurting.
Good sportsmanship from Raul coming to my dressing room after the fight to congratulate me on the win. No idea what either of us said though. 😁

Found an old photo of myself and Alexander Bakhtin in Rijeka, Croatia after 1999 European boxing finals. Sasha took the gold where I felt one step short and got a silver.
Sasha went on to become 31 fights undefeated 2012 IBO boxing world champion. Last time we saw each other he was still living in Tokyo, Japan and drove to Narita to meet me after my last professional fight.

Very sad news. Just found out that late this morning a great man Dapto legend Graham Roberts known as robbo past away. 😔
robbo was working for a company who was my sponsor already K&R, come to the boss and said: “How can I be part of Anton’s team?
-You are already part of the team robbo, all of us are in the company.
“Neah, said robbo. I want to help Anton on my own.
And that’s how word robbo appeared on my T-shirt.

Not much training happening these days. Was going through my wardrobe and saw this groin protector in the corner collecting dust. Thought I better give it to someone instead creating a peace of history. Only one person came to my mind who deserves it and who may still finds it fit to wear. My youngest student.
