It’s been a busy month for Glasseye, as we balance our lure production, finding time to get out to fish and film, whilst also working on some very cool new tackle we’re keeping close to our chests, but for now, we’re excited to have locked in our next restock date: FRIDAY 18TH SEPTEMBER 7PM AEST.

With the arrival of Spring, the warming waters has pushed our fishing focus to local estuaries. Finding no shortage of Mulloway, Flathead and Bream amongst the rock walls and mud flats that seem more eager to take a lure than even just a few weeks ago.

It’s a great time to be on the water and we hope everyone finds the time to get out there. See you next Friday ☀️

Glass out mornings, fish biting, Hikari Heads firing & Ivan still not smiling 🤣 Still on the hunt to break that 80+ knobby in the shallows. Have to make the most of the next few months as those bigger fish move into the shallow reefs and bommies. Hope everyone has been getting out there! 👌

The Bubba-Ke 7g Prosecco telling us the old elephants eating peanuts tale with this cracker River Mulloway 🐘 Coming in just north of the magic metre mark this fish was sitting tight to the bottom under a lit up bridge - just as the tide turned she struck, with one of those rod ripping hits you feel in your elbow. After a nervous fight on the soapie gear with some big head shakes thrown in for good measure, we got her in the boat for the photoshoot and back on her way. Awesome to tick off a fish of this calibre on the Bubba-Ke 7g 🌒 ✨

Estuary Perch are such a special fish, whilst we don’t target them regularly we often find them as by catch for Mulloway. In the upper reaches and slower tidal parts of the river you can find them stacked up on the rock walls and flats. The trusted HOLT PRODUCTIONS Swim Prawn and 3/0 HIKARI HEAD offering a super subtle presentation 👌

RESTOCK DATE IS SET!

Next Wednesday 12th August @ 7PM AEST 💥 All colours, sizes & Hikari Heads will be available.

Putting the new Oba-Ke Limelight 17G to work in the local river has been producing some great results, this Mulloway a highlight from a recent session. Using stiff but sensitive rods, there is a distinct vibe like action on the Oba-Ke, something we knew about but haven’t previously called out. This fish dialling in on the lures vibrations and crunching it. Get out there and give it a go yourself 💪 See you next Wednesday 7PM.

Not what we expected to jump on a mid water plastic drifting behind the boat! The HIKARI HEADS 6/0 & Rapala Australia crushcity getting smoked by this solid Mulloway whilst on a recent trip fishing for Snapper 💥

Nice to sneak out between restocks and target some local snapper. The HIKARI HEAD 6/0 doing what it does best in some shallow zones 👌 Time to get stuck back into production for the August drop.

Fishlogica Australia snapper prototype in hand 💪
