Blazers 6th place playoff victory against the Reign
We're the Sydney Blazers! Woohoo! The Blazers are a basketball squad playing in the King George V Saturday basketball league in Sydney, Australia.
The Sydney Blazers are in no way associated with or related to the Portland Blazers, except for the occasional injury.

Saturday the 22nd, at around 2 o'clock, there's a three-point-shootout at KGV!
Dagnabbit.
Ending the season on two losses (one against the team we won against last week) is not exactly what we hoped for.
Still, ending up in the middle of the 15 team pack is better than being dead last like we did last season.
Thanks to everyone involved in this season, players, and fans!
Next season starts in about two weeks, stay tuned!
12.15pm we play against the Cobras guys!
We HAVE to win, otherwise we have another game on the same day, at 3:15!!! Let's get this one so we can go to the finals of our playoffs, and play 4x12 minutes on the 22nd!
Let's go Blazers!
And this time it's bad news.
Yesterdays rumours appear untrue. Andrew Bogut himself reported through Twitter that his insurance wouldn't cover him playing in the NBL.
Very, very unfortunate!

What's that? Rumors of Andrew Bogut playing for the Sydney Kings in the NBL this season, during the NBA lockout?
Oh dear! Surely, that should improve our chances!!!

Andrew Bogut signs on for NBL stint with Sydney Kings while NBA lockout continues FIRST REPORT: Andrew Bogut has officially pledged to be a King pushing Sydney closer to pulling off the biggest signing in NBL history.
Playoff time baby!
This Saturday the 8th, at 12:30 we're playing Garbos!
Be there, and bring your frikkin' A game!
Al's "welcome back present" worked out pretty nicely, as the Sydney Blazers smashed one of the contending teams by 2 points.
A three-pointer from the parking lot by Güreşen Onur sealed the deal in the final second!
Coming soon: the playoffs!
This Saturday, the 24th, we play at 1.15!
The return of Al is imminent!
Dagnabbit. We lost that one just barely.
Those guys were tied for second place with 2 other teams, and we lost by just a few points, after being in the lead for most of the game...
What I'm trying to say is; progress is a slow process, or so it seems. We're getting there though.
Great game guys.
Next up: the Uni Boys, another number 2! 12.30!
