Australia's Youth Self Defence Karate Australia's Youth Self Defence Karate specialises in the instruction of children and teens in self defence. Since 1994 we have promoted self esteem and self confidence in young people.

As a Karate practitioner & martial artist we learn to challenge ourselves; body and mind; through our weekly training, facing challenges and being taught the process of overcoming them.

No one is born with the ability or discipline to do this. It comes from Idols, Teachers or Sensei's, but before any of that it comes from your parents and guardians.

Parents and guardians give you the means and encouragement to continue when you have no discipline or understanding of why. They are the ones who help you start and continue until you have built the strength and ability to do what is needed, not what is easiest. They help you to show up, for class, for yourself and one day for others.

Life can challenge us every day. Karate teaches you how to weather these challenges, not take the easy, dead-end road and ultimately achieve success in all things.

WE DID IT!! Hi everyone, This December 15th Combined Gading is going to be HUUUGEEE!

It’s our 30th YEAR ANNIVERSARY! Massive milestone, we are so proud of this and our end of year event is going to be a massive party with grading to celebrate.

Commemorative gifts, sausage sizzle, treats, amazing karate and Ohhh did I mention a full size adult jumping castle ;) - but the best part about it will be our karate friends & family together
