Today we are recognising the start of National Reconciliation Week. It is a time for all Australians to learn about our shared histories, cultures and achievements, and to explore how each of us can contribute to achieving reconciliation in Australia.

Thank you to our wonderful volunteers - the Exec team who run the behind the scenes of the P&C, the committees who run events, envirohub, band, choir, uniform shop and canteen and our extra volunteers who help in all our groups and events. We appreciate all you do to support our kids and the school.
Special shout out to Annette J who led the team organising and running band camp this past weekend. Annette was thanked with a bunch of flowers at the P&C meeting last night.
This week is National Volunteer Week and the theme is Your Year to Volunteer. Why don’t you join us? Come and meet some friends and help our kids too!

What a fantastic weekend our band students had on camp at CRU Galston Gorge with thanks to Key Music and our P&C! Lots of music, fun, friends and food!
A huge thank you to our amazing parent volunteers who organised, supervised, managed, served food, directed traffic, and transported equipment to make the weekend a success. What a way to start national volunteer week!

The P&C annual monetary contribution helps the P&C to support every child at our school.
We invite you to contribute via the School Bytes Parent Portal (links were sent by the school earlier this week).
Over the next few weeks we are going to share how the contributions are used for the benefit of all our children.

🌺 Happy Mother’s Day to all the mothers and mother figures in our school community. 🌺
On Friday afternoon, we celebrated the wonderful women who make such a difference in our lives. It was a beautiful afternoon, and it was lovely to see such a fantastic turnout.
A big thank you to:
- Bite Me Bakehouse for the delicious treats
- Jane and Lloyd B for the juice poppers
- Our teachers for putting together a wonderful art show
- And lastly, but certainly not least, our amazing volunteers - thank you to Hani, the dads, and the grandfather who helped set up, serve, and tidy up.
We truly appreciate everyone who helped make the celebration so special!
Save the Date: Our Parents’ Trivia Night will be held on 24 July - more details to come!

Appreciation post 🙌
I popped in to see our wonderful canteen team - Carrie and Sussan and was reminded what an amazing job they do feeding our kids every Wednesday and Friday. They know the kids so well and always go the extra mile. 💛
A special shout-out as well to our amazing regular volunteers! We’ll be calling on your support in late May when Carrie heads to Japan to represent Australia in the IAU Asia & Oceania 24 Hour World Championship – how incredible is that! 🇦🇺🏃♀️
We’re always looking for new volunteers to help at the canteen. If you’re able to help, please reach out to Carrie to be added to the volunteer WhatsApp group.
