Now I've realised that goes against my deepest desire of wanting to live my life on my own terms with my own rules.

I just shed another layer of needing to have control.

I have missed you 💕.

So I'm on the bus to work and I'm reading Brené Browns, Braving The Wilderness, and this question keeps confronting me.

So I sat with it for a bit and it really shook me up.

But shook up in a good way.

As in, like a wake up call with fresh water being thrown in your face on a hot day. It's a bit of a shock, but damn it feels good 😍.

I wanted to share this question with you because I'm hoping, like me, it gets you excited to pay attention to the details today.

Not because you're wrong, bad or silly, because we all know you're bloody amazing!

No, let's pay attention to the details because we deserve to shine bright like a flippin' diamond and embody our own kind of beautiful!

Here's the question:

What percentage of you is made up of other people's rules, ideals, beliefs and thoughts?

What percentage of you is made up of what you actually believe to be true? As in, if you were singled out and made to stand strong in your truth, would you be standing at 12%? 49%? 88%?

For the longest of times I was operating at 4% my truth. I was bombarded and engulfed by what I SHOULD be thinking, feeling and believing.

Over the last year I'm happy to report I'm now operating at 77% of living in my truth.

I still have 23% to go and now I'm more excited than scared.

I've lost so many 'friends' and 'family' along the way, and that used scare me. Now I thrive on letting go.

I want to stand in my truth 100%!

I want to be me all the way. No outside influences.

And I want to be surrounded by people who are willing to accept me at 100%.

Aaahhhh I feel like I can breath deeper.

So, let's consider where we stand lady. What percentage of yourself and your truth are you?

Will you start to notice the details today and catch yourself when you start to follow someone else's rules? Will you decide to stand in your truth instead?

There is a difference between 'I give up' and 'I surrender'.

I realised this yesterday when I repeatedly said 'I give up', 'I give up', 'I give up'.

What I really meant was, I SURRENDER.

I reached a fork in the road yesterday and I had my brick wall come crashing down on my head.

My wall of protection had crumbled and I had 2 options and a choice to make.

Give up and fall back into the imaginary line that life has offered OR surrender control and let God and the universe do what needs to be done in order to get me to where my heart desires.

My head and body hit maximum exhaustion yesterday. But my heart and soul we're still running on full.

What we never stop to realise is, controlling all outcomes can only lead to limited results. As humans we can only see so far.

Our mind can only take in so much.

So when we become exhausted we often take the easy way out and fall back into line because we already know what's expected of us there.

We don't have to think.

We don't have to strive.

We merely have to survive.

This is giving up. This is succumbing to your fears, doubts and guilt.

I want to encourage you to SURRENDER instead.

Surrender your control.

Surrender your need to know the who, what, when, how and why.

Surrender your hopeless thoughts and put out to God and the universe what's in your heart if hearts and then just surrender the how.

When you surrender, you allow something much bigger and more creative than you to help you achieve what you want.

God and the universe has unlimited resources.

The reason your hearts desire hasn't showed up yet is because you keep interfering.

You keep trying to control the situation.

Stop.

Just stop.

You've reached a fork in the road and you have 2 options and a choice to make.

Give up or surrender.

I chose to surrender.
