One of the things I love about being a MumSafe™️ Trainer is that there is a clear standard behind the badge.
It’s not something you can simply decide to call yourself.
There are specific requirements that need to be met before a trainer can become MumSafe accredited, from specialised pre and postnatal education to insurance, professional registration and ongoing professional development.
And honestly, I think that’s exactly how it should be.
Because when you’re pregnant, postpartum or navigating the many changes that come with motherhood, you deserve more than someone who “works with mums.”
You deserve someone who has invested the time to understand your body, your recovery and the unique challenges women can face during this season of life.
I chose to become a MumSafe Trainer because after having Sofia and navigating my own postpartum journey, I realised just how much there was to learn about women’s health and how important it is to have the right support around you.
The mums I work with place a huge amount of trust in me and I never take that lightly.
For me, the MumSafe badge represents a commitment to ongoing learning, collaboration with pelvic health professionals and providing women with the safest and most supportive experience possible.
Because every woman deserves to feel confident that the person guiding her exercise understands the bigger picture.

After I had Sofia, I found myself doing what so many mums do.
Training in the same way I used to train before getting pregnant.
Wondering when it was actually safe to push a little harder .
The funny thing is, I was already an exercise professional.
I had qualifications. I had experience. And yet I still felt underprepared for what my own body needed during that season of life.
That experience was a turning point for me.
It made me realise just how many gaps existed in my understanding of pregnancy, postpartum recovery and women’s health.
And if I felt that way as a trainer, how must other mums be feeling?
So I went looking for answers.
Not just for myself, but for every woman who would trust me with her health and wellbeing in the years to come.
Becoming a MumSafe™️ Trainer meant undertaking specialised pre and postnatal education, making sure I had the right insurance, building strong relationships with pelvic health physiotherapists and committing to ongoing learning so I can provide women with the support they deserve.
Because motherhood changes your body.
Not in a broken way.
Not in a “you need fixing” way.
But in a way that deserves understanding, respect and the right guidance.
It completely changed how I coach.
It changed the questions I ask, the things I look for and the way I support women through every stage of motherhood.
You deserve a trainer who understands the journey, values your experience and sees the whole picture, not just the workout in front of you.

There are plenty of trainers who work with mums.
But supporting women through pregnancy, postpartum and motherhood properly takes more than a weekend course and good intentions.
It takes ongoing education, the right qualifications, the right insurance and a genuine understanding of what a woman’s body may be navigating during this season of life.
As a MumSafe™️ Trainer, I have completed specialised pre and postnatal training, maintain professional registration with AUSactive, work alongside trusted pelvic health physiotherapists and continue investing in education every year because women deserve better than guesswork when it comes to their health.
What I love most about this work is helping women rebuild trust in their bodies.
Whether you are newly postpartum, years into motherhood or simply wondering if the symptoms you are experiencing are something you should pay attention to, you do not have to figure it out on your own.
You deserve a trainer who asks how you are feeling, not just how hard you trained.
If you have been wondering where to start, send me a message. I’d love to hear your story and help you find the right next step for you ❤️
