What a shame! We are writing this with a big disappointment and dissatisfaction.
We’re not participating any rest of the game of running tournament of SCT and therefore boycotting due to the very poor management despite being one of the top 4 teams in the table. We had a scheduled “ catch up” match today against Assassins as the SCT committee couldn’t able to find the ground for us on a very sunny day on 31/07/202 despite they have booked ground. We’re not entitled to play any Saturday game as we’ve confirmed the SCT before the tournament starts however we’ve complied and agreed to play today to help SCT.

Anyways, we all managed to take off from our regular work and managed to be at ground. It stated raining from 9 am till 1pm. We’ve taken the video (please see below) and let committee know. Committee was so reluctant and they’re sitting at home and didn’t bother to come to the ground by knowing this would be one of the important game of the tournament.

We tried to contact several times with the committee and finally as per as the umpire statement “it’s safe to play until someone fall and get hurt. We denied with this statement and again tried to contact the committee member and urge them to come to the ground.

One of them clearly told me that he’ll be at ground in next 15 minutes and asked us to wait at the ground. We were waiting for his arrival and the in the mean time umpire took all the opponent team members to the ground and declare them as winners.

We’re so surprised and shocked and no intention to disrespect the umpire and the opponent. Instead we decided to wait for the committee member to arrive and we’ve waited more than 30
Minutes but unfortunately the committee didn’t turn up.

We have found this really disappointing and disrespectful to us and therefore we’ve decided not to continue anymore from this running tournament and in future we won’t be participating in SCT anymore.
