It wasn't the easiest way to finish the Townsville weekend, but there were plenty of positives to take away.

Jayden Ojeda secured another top-10 finish after qualifying for the Top Ten Shootout, while Declan Fraser showed plenty of grit to battle steering issues and bring the car home over the full 200-kilometre race.

Away from Townsville, Team Owner Peter Xiberras also enjoyed a successful weekend at Sydney Motorsport Park, finishing fifth outright and second in class in the Clippy Cup Enduro.

Townsville done and dusted. 👏

Our final race of the weekend saw Jayden Ojeda bring home another top-10 finish, crossing the line in P10 after an impressive qualifying performance that earned him a place in the Top Ten Shootout.

For Declan Fraser, it was a race of determination. After picking up steering damage in the opening-lap incident, he battled on for the entire 200 kilometres to finish P21 and collect valuable championship points for the team.

A massive thank you to our PremiAir Racing crew, who delivered outstanding pit stops all weekend and gave both drivers the best opportunity to fight every lap. Your hard work behind the scenes never goes unnoticed.

A strong recovery drive in Townsville 💪

After being shuffled back to around P21 on the opening lap, Jayden Ojeda and the #31 PremiAir Racing crew fought their way back through the field to finish P11.

Smart strategy, strong race pace and sharp work in pit lane helped deliver a well-earned result from a challenging start.

Race 21 complete in Townsville. 🏁

It was a race of recovery for Premiair Racing, with both drivers fighting hard across 200 kilometres and two compulsory pit stops.

Jayden overcame a difficult opening lap to steadily work his way through the field, with a strong strategy, clean pit stops and consistent pace seeing him finish just outside the top 10.

Declan also made solid progress throughout the race after starting further back. Despite a challenging afternoon, he kept pushing to the chequered flag, backed by another faultless performance from the Premiair Racing crew in pit lane.

A special mention to the crew, who delivered four clean compulsory pit stops under pressure to keep both Camaros in the fight.

As Gilly summed it up over the radio after the race: "Plenty of positives. Eyes forward to tomorrow."
