Are you looking for a Wedding or "Life Celebrant" who is open to your needs?
A great many people today elect for a “Civil” wedding ceremony as it suits their needs and their beliefs. Many do so because they do not hold any particular belief and it seems hypocritical to them to be married in a church that does not support their feelings.
Many other people though come from a faith or religious background but, for whatever reason, find that they no longer go to church or belong to a particular faith community. This does not mean they no longer believe in God (however they perceive God) or that they do not want to have a minister perform their wedding ceremony.
Sadly, many larger denominations do not perform wedding ceremonies, Christenings, or even funerals for couples or individuals that are not active members in their church. Some will not marry divorcees , or perform ceremonies for couples of “mixed faith” backgrounds. For these reasons, amongst others, many couples have been forced to settle for a civil ceremony when (in reality) they would have preferred a traditional ceremony, with a minister joining them in Holy Matrimony.
Now there is an alternative for those couples who wish to have a traditional service. Bishop Ronald Langham is an Ecumenical Bishop who understands the importance of matrimony and the role it plays in society. Bishop Ron understands that not everyone fits into the mould of many churches. He believes that every person should have the opportunity to declare their love for each other and that the sacrament of Holy Matrimony is bestowed
in a marriage by the two people concerned, by their love for, and nurturing of, each other.
No church has the right to stand in the way of love and Bishop Ron will not deny the Sacrament of marriage to any couple who are legally and emotionally qualified to enter into it.
With Bishop Ron, you have a choice. As both an authorized civil and religious celebrant, Bishop Ron is here to meet your wedding needs. Everything (except the legal requirements) is negotiable
with Bishop Ron. C
With Bishop Ron you also have the choice of a fully "Civil" ceremony with no religious content whatsoever. All weddings are as equal and valid as any other and Bishop Ron will honour your preferences as best he can in any given set of circumstances.
