Established in 1926, Marrickville Croquet Club is located in a picturesque corner of Marrickville Park, adjacent to a much beloved franjapani tree. No better place to be on a summers day or evening (yes- we have night croquet), sitting on the verandah of our historic clubhouse or knocking some balls around the lawn with your friends...

Marrickville values member cooperation in the everyday running of the club. Perhaps that is why the Marrickville players in the Manly GC Seabreeze have excelled in the doubles this weekend! We will talk about the singles another day (maybe ;)).

It was a grand day out celebrating our extraordinary past and present members! The Club appreciated the warm words of both our local member, Jo Haylen, and Inner West Councillor Matt Howard at the Centenary celebration on Saturday. We were also thrilled to welcome the granddaughter of a founding member fly in from Melbourne to help celebrate the day.

Topping off a great celebration of 100 years of hooping at Marrickville Croquet Club the club has 2 players who have made it to the final 16 of the NSW GC Open (while the rest of us were eating scones). May the croquet gods smile on Peter and Malcolm in the elimination rounds tomorrow!
