We had our first ever Gymnastics Kids Party over the weekend hosted by our super talented member and Gymnastics Coach extraordinaire

We absolutely loved transforming our space to a safe and fun haven for pre-schoolers, and sharing our passion for movement and exercise

WEEK 1 OF TESTING kicks off Sunday 17 July with our in-body scan from and 3 Key Strength Tests through the week πŸ’ͺ

The testing phase of our programming is a great time to push yourself at the end of a training block to see the progress that you've made in the last 12 weeks - but it isn't always about hitting a heavier weight or getting lifetime PR's.
We are all at different stages of our fitness journey and not everyone will peak at the same time

Even if you've had some time off to focus on rest and recovery and feeling like you're not at the level to test yourself; come in and train, do more volume or focus on technique instead and cheer on your Chalk Up fam as we strive to help each other level up

We have created a 3-Week Program specifically for Beginners to set you up for success πŸ”₯

This is Matty, in his third PT session which covers Olympic weightlifting πŸ‹οΈ

We often have members join Chalk Up with no prior experience in CrossFit, or having only trained in a globo gym

Our small groups of 12 have helped them integrate and learn quickly in a group environment. However some members prefer some specific one on one time to ensure they have the right lifting foundations and they become even more confident when joining the group classes

With this program,
βœ… You will be matched with one of our expert coaches & have a goals discussion
βœ… The Coach/PT will take you through 3 one-on-one sessions, each specifically programmed to cover key lifts including squats, presses & Olympic weightlifting
βœ… You will have access to any 2 sessions of your choice per week

At the end of the 3-Week Program, with the guidance of your coach, you will choose any of our Group Membership options, and/or continue to complement them with PT sessions

Our programming covers skill work on a regular basis however 'Skills Week' focuses on particular movements that will be incorporated into the next training block and can help build the fitness & strength for your next testing πŸ’ͺ

Each skill is taught in a specific way which has been tried and tested to yield the best results, and will be coached by way of progressions and drills to build the correct movement pattern and form ⭐

Last week, we put to the test our key 3 power lifts. This week, we get to test our strength and skills gained in Olympic Weightlifting, Gymnastics and Conditioning during this training block

We kicked off Testing Week yesterday with a Body Composition Scan for our members, with the help from the team πŸ™

The results from this body composition analysis will help us assess and guide what changes need to be made in terms of nutrition and training based on our members' individual goals
