Where should you return? 🎾👑

Cross-court is the percentage play.
Through the middle creates the classic “yours… no, yours!” moment.
Down the line keeps the keen poacher honest.
And the lob? For when someone at the net is getting just a little too comfortable. 😏

But the best return of all? The one that lands in.

Where should you serve in doubles? 🎾

🎯 Down the T — fewer angles and a very satisfying target.
↗️ Out wide — pull her off court and open the gap.
😈 Into the body — because sometimes the best strategy is making everyone slightly uncomfortable.

The real secret? Mix it up and keep them guessing—preferably while looking as though it was completely intentional. 👑

Then put the theory into practice at our last Play & Prosecco before the school-holiday break.

Match Play wisdom, according to Belinda: when it comes to a tiebreak, just don’t serve a double fault. 😂

Even with the competition heating up and the tiebreak finishing 7–5, the Queens are still having a laugh. Serious tennis—never too serious. 🎾
