Chris Sinclair was appointed as Referee to the Final of the Men’s competition at FISU World University Futsal Championship between Brazil and Portugal in Warsaw, Poland.

The match took place yesterday and saw Brazil beat Portugal 8-5 🇧🇷🇵🇹🇳🇿

Three Aussie match officials were in action this morning in the during the Round of 16 clash between Mexico and England! 👏 🏁

Congratulations to the Australian officials (especially futsal referee George Lakrindis!) on their second football World Cup appointment 🤩 ⚽️

FIFA has confirmed the officiating team for the upcoming World Cup group-stage clash between Colombia and Portugal, scheduled for June 28 at 19:30.

The match will be refereed by Australian official Alireza Faghani, who will oversee one of the most highly anticipated fixtures of the group stage.

He will be assisted by fellow Australians George Lakrindis and Andrew Lindsay.

The fourth official for the encounter will be Said Martinez, while Walter Lopez has been appointed as reserve assistant referee.

With both Colombia and Portugal aiming to strengthen their position in the group, the experienced refereeing team will play a key role in maintaining control of what is expected to be a high-intensity match.
