Strength isn’t built in big, dramatic moments.
It’s built in the small choices. The days you still show up even when it would have been easier not to.
Over time those sessions start to add up. Weeks turn into months, and one day you realise your body feels different — stronger, steadier, and more capable.
That’s the kind of progress that really lasts.
So keep going. You’ll be glad you did.

I want to be strong as I get older...
Not just strong now.
I want to be strong enough to bushwalk or to lift my grandchildren.
I want to be strong enough to move without fear.
The work you do today shapes the years ahead.

A huge congratulations to our own Betty Concina on the release of her very first book 🤍
From a Woman’s Perspective: Stories of Strength That Refused to Stay Silent is a deeply heartfelt collection of stories centred around healing, resilience, life experiences, emotional growth, and the strength women carry through even the most difficult moments.
Many of our members know Betty for her passion, support, and dedication within the Fitness Local community, and we’re incredibly proud to see her share such a personal and meaningful project with the world.
Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the gym reception soon.
