Some of you may know, due to legal reasons, I had to stop braiding for a few weeks. I also moved out of my house. In the meantime, due to not knowing if I could legally reside in Southside, I was forced into homelessness with my son. Despite not having a “home”, I secured an apartment for the meantime, and I prayed so hard!
Now everything that could go wrong went wrong - family stuff, legal stuff, my car broke down, tyre went flat, super busy with school, church, taking care of ppl & doing it all as a solo mum with my son full time.. I was so burnt out. But I kept it pushing & I’ve learnt to TRUST GOD🙌🏽💯.
I’ve always done it on my own. Always. But that’s what I’ve been learning with my church family - to trust in God, and not lean on my own understanding, strength & knowledge. Just trust God. AND LOOK! I should be in jail, was looking at 8yrs! I almost wasn’t even allowed to live in Southside. But I’m here💯 And I’m free! God is so good, truly the real provider & protector. Not the “boys”, not the “gangs”, not the “guns”, just God🥹🙏🏽 Love you Abba!
Getting this reaction is truely special for me, cos it shows me just how real my gratitude to the Most High is. A lot of the criticism I receive is that I ain’t really widdit like that for God. That the “Jesus” stuff is just “content”, or a “facade”. Well did u see the video uce🤣🙌🏽🙌🏽??

People think that when you give your life to Christ, all your problems, battles, demons, they all go away. But fam, the beauty of picking up your cross is the struggles that come with it. The hardships, the sufferance, us trying to do good in a wicked world, it’s all building your endurance, it’s refining your character, it’s growing us closer to the most high🙏🏽.
Philippians 1:29 reads “for it has been granted unto you on Christ’s behalf, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for Him”. This game of life ain’t easy, especially when you’re setting yourself apart, picking up your cross, and being called to a higher standard of living.
