Alfords Point Ladies Social Golf Club
We had a great day today at Hurstville golf club. Our annual Maureen Tromph charity breast cancer fundraising day. We raised around $350. We played an Ambrose event with 20 players in attendance. Thank you to all the ladies who came for the event. Thank you to our 2 men Gary and Hugh for cooking the bbq lunch. A very enjoyable day had by all.

Looking for a new social golf group? Alfords Point Ladies Social Golf Club has openings for new members. We play once /twice a month on Sundays. Beginner to advanced can join. We play at many different courses around Sydney. Message the club for more information.

Last night -8/10, Alfords Point Ladies Social Golf held our 21st year anniversary celebration -theme Denim and Lace. A fun filled event with a photo booth, meal, dancing and a special presentation to one of our life members Janice Dufficy who is leaving to live in Qld. We thanked Janice for all her hard work as secretary, organizing newsletters, meetings and all over service to our social club over the years. She will certainly be missed.
It was great to see so many current and past players attend. Life long friendship is what this social golf club is all about. Our new playing shirts were also presented to everyone with a gift of a wine glass and golf balls.

Each year our ladies social golf club fundraise for breast cancer in memory of one of our members Maureen Tromp. It’s a pink day, we have a couple of raffles, longest drives, nearest pin putter and we buy rescue shots to get us out of sticky situations. Whole day was fabulous and we raised a good amount for a good cause. Just wanted to share our fun day.

Our Maureen Tromp Trophy Day will be held at Hurstville Golf Course as Marrickville has many holes not in play.
Please bring your money as well as a prize for the raffle.

APLSGC Annual General Meeting will be held at Club Menai on Tuesday 6 September at 7pm. If you want dinner, arrive around 6pm. Hope to see as many of you as possible. Sorry for the short notice. Janice
