Lakers Netball Club play in the Inner Western Suburbs Netball Association Competition at Cintra Park, Concord on Saturdays, April to August. Registrations for Winter comp open in January and close in February. We also participate in a summer comp that runs from October to December. A huge congratulations to Milla, who received her National C Badge a few weeks ago! 🏐💛💜

The badgings keep coming for Lakers! A huge congratulations to Lauren and Michaela, who received their Association Badge last Saturday, the second step in the umpiring pathway 🏐💛💜
Both have been working incredibly hard across this season and last to develop their skills to reach this level. They’ve come such a long way with their umpiring, and they represent Lakers with pride every week.
We’re feeling very proud of the number of badgings across the 2026 Winter Season, and we recognise the effort of every one of our umpires, and our umpire coaches, for their consistent development and commitment to growth.

On Thursday a few of our teams absolutely turned it on at the Sydney Uni Gala Day! Our Wallabies (with one Kestrel and one Leichhardt teammate!) played 4 games, 3 wins, and a nail‑biting finals showdown 🏐🔥
They faced the only team they’d lost to earlier… and in the final seconds they hopped ahead for a 14–13 win. 💛💜
And because we had so many amazing teams out on court, we had to update our post to include our other crew! A mixed team made up of Kestrels, Sandpipers and an U13 player who also had a fantastic day! They brought teamwork, energy and plenty of fun to every round, showing just how strong our club spirit is across all age groups.
