Dance is something I am extremely passionate about. A warm and friendly environment.
A genuine love of dance and people drive my GraceFaithDance. As someone who is efficient, organised and hardworking I enjoy the business aspect of working towards a dance performance. Growing up, a frustration of mine, was the search for the perfect dance studio. Obviously no studio is perfect, but this search has taught me what the dance community needs and what I believe, many families are looki
ng for. Age appropriate costumes, music, choreography and themes. Strong technique and performance skills. Dancers gaining the ability to learn to dance in union, as well as each dancer developing their own style and expressing their thoughts and emotions through movement to music. One of kindness, discipline and encouragement. Where young people learn of their worth and are encouraged to use their gifts in the best way possible and make a difference in the world. An environment where boys learn it's great to dance, and girls learn not to compare or out themselves down. As I launch this studio, I will do my best to achieve each the above and impart into my students my knowledge and love of dance. Over the years, we will learn together as a community and raise dancers who know they are valued, who know they have giftings and endless potential, which can be used to make the world a better place. Dancers who aren't afraid to be themselves and who know how to express their emotions and opinions in a healthy, respectful way. As an educator, and the daughter of two school teachers, I am keenly aware of not only the focus parents place on school, but the benefits of dance in terms of behaviour, characteristics, developments of the brain, growing new neural pathways and developing characteristics such as perseverance and habits such as practise.
