St Ives FC & Brazilian Art Football are looking for a motivated and creative Social Media & Content Manager to join our team.

This opportunity would be ideal for a student or young person studying Media, Digital Media, Marketing, Communications or a related field who wants to gain real-world experience and build a strong portfolio in the sports industry.

The role will involve:

📱 Managing our Instagram & Facebook accounts
🎨 Creating engaging social media content
📸 Capturing and sharing stories from our teams and programs
🎥 Creating reels, posts and promotional content
📣 Promoting our programs and events
💡 Bringing fresh and creative ideas to our social media presence

We’re looking for someone who is responsible, reliable, creative and passionate about social media, content creation and sport.

This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with an established Football development program, create content that reaches a large Football community, and build a professional portfolio.

We are looking for someone who:
⚽️ Has experience coaching goalkeepers
🧤 Understands goalkeeper development, particularly at junior and youth level
💛 Is passionate about helping young players (U8-U16) improve
🤝 Works well within a professional coaching environment
📈 Is committed to long-term player development

This is a great opportunity to work with a well-established development program and help develop the next generation of goalkeepers.

What a season for our St Ives FC U9 Girls Development Squad 🏆

The girls have finished the season UNBEATEN again, but what makes this group so special goes far beyond the results. 4 of our 9 players are actually U8, playing up an age group and competing against older girls every week. And perhaps the best part… they are such a wonderful group of girls! 💞

They support each other, celebrate each other’s success, work hard, have fun and, most importantly, genuinely enjoy playing Football together 😊

Their progress throughout the season has been fantastic, and seeing their confidence, friendships and love for the game grow has been just as rewarding as watching them win.

🏆 U7 Ninjas 🥷 Development Squad — UNDEFEATED. UNSTOPPABLE.

What a fantastic season for our St Ives FC U7 Development Squad 💚

🔥 21 games. 21 wins.
⚽️ 500 goals scored.
💯 An undefeated season. Again.

But this achievement is about much more than numbers. For 8 consecutive years, our U7 Development Program has maintained a 100% winning record, undefeated across every season.

That consistency is a reflection of something much bigger: a development philosophy built on quality coaching, strong foundations, player confidence, and a clear pathway for young footballers.

Over the years, players who started in our U7 program have progressed through our JDL and Super League squads, while others have gone on to continue their development in the NPL environment.

The results are a by-product of the environment we create.

Our focus has always been on helping young players:
Develop strong technical foundations
Learn to love the game
Build confidence and creativity
Understand how to play as a team
Develop the habits and mentality required for the next level

And when you look at where our players go after U7, you can see the bigger picture.

8 years. 8 undefeated seasons. A generation of players continuing to progress.

🏆 St Ives FC JDL DOMINANCE — AND SO MUCH MORE THAN RESULTS 💚

What a season for our St Ives FC JDL squads! 🦅⚽️
For the 6th consecutive year, our JDL program has finished at the top of the NSFA JDL rankings, an incredible level of consistency across our U8–U11 age groups.

But while the results are something to celebrate, they are only one part of the story.

📈 SIX YEARS. ONE PHILOSOPHY.
Finishing at the top once is an achievement.
Doing it six years in a row demonstrates something much bigger:
A philosophy. A methodology. A culture.
Our Development Program has never been built simply around winning games. Our purpose is to develop better footballers and better people, creating an environment where players can learn, make mistakes, challenge themselves, build confidence and, most importantly, enjoy their Football.

We want our players to:

The results we see on the weekend are the outcome of the work done during the week. Behind every player is a coaching team committed to planning, teaching, correcting, encouraging and challenging. Behind every team is a club committed to providing the environment, resources and opportunities needed for players to thrive. And behind it all are the countless hours contributed by our coaches, technical staff, committee members, volunteers and families.

Many of these boys have been together for years, growing not only as footballers, but as teammates, friends and young men. They have represented St Ives FC and Brazilian Art Football with pride, commitment and incredible consistency.

But what makes this group special goes far beyond trophies. It’s the work they put in, the standards they set for each other, the way they compete, and the way they represent our club and BAF on and off the pitch.
