JDL runs January through September — which means Term 4 is real off-season time. Skills fade without regular touches, and this group is built to close that gap.
Every session focused on the fundamentals that actually carry over: touches, decisions, game understanding. Coached properly, not just supervised.

Winning a 1v1 isn’t about being the most skilful player on the pitch — it’s about habits. The players who consistently come out on top of duels are doing a few things differently, whether they’re attacking or defending.
Attacking: change your pace the moment you’re past your marker, attack their front foot, and disguise your intent early — before they’ve had time to react.
Defending: stay patient. Don’t dive in. Show the attacker onto their weaker foot and stay balanced with small steps.
And the part most players miss — commit. Hesitation loses more duels than a bad touch ever will. Win or lose the duel, reset fast and go again.
These are the exact habits we coach into every 1v1 at Olsen Football.
