From Sydney to California.

Last Christmas, Max Goldfarb walked into the .cc Sydney office looking for a road bike rental while visiting Australia from the U.S.

What he didn’t expect was to spot the brand new TCP Eclipse One.

After seeing the bike in person, Max was hooked. We managed to custom build his very own Eclipse One before he jumped on his flight home to Los Angeles.

Fast forward a few months and Max has just put the bike through one of the toughest tests possible, the legendary Wildflower Experience 70.3 in California.

Widely regarded as one of the hardest 70.3 courses in the U.S, Wildflower dishes out over 4,000ft of climbing on the bike course alone.

Here’s what Max had to say after racing the Eclipse One for the first time:

“Handled beautifully and was an absolute joy to ride. I was able to run off the bike so much better than off my road bike.”

Max rode a blistering 3:37 bike split on the brutal course and now has Ironman Wisconsin locked in as the next big target.

We absolutely love seeing our bikes being raced all over the world, especially stories like this that started right here in Sydney.

Good luck for the rest of the season Max, we’ll be cheering you on from Australia.

Two riders, one shared goal, go as fast as possible.

Johann Maximilian and his friend are visiting Sydney from Switzerland and spending the week riding The Carbon Project Eclipse One Triathlon, made possible through our partnership with BikeRental.cc.

This collaboration allows athletes to experience, test, and rent our triathlon bikes in real world conditions, something that is still extremely rare globally. Travelling athletes, visiting competitors, and those preparing for an upcoming Ironman or triathlon now have access to a true race focused machine without the complexity of travelling with their own bike.

The Carbon Project is a new Australian brand built to push limits, challenge convention, and deliver uncompromising performance. Partnering with BikeRental.cc lets us put our bikes where they belong, under real riders, in real conditions, chasing real speed.

This is how modern triathlon equipment should be experienced.

Racing at 70.3 IRONMAN WORLD CHAMPS….. I can’t believe it’s finally time 26/11/2025

We are incredibly proud to support Ella Lamplugh on her journey with The Carbon Project.

Ella has just released her race day vlog from the 70.3 Ironman World Championships, a season defining moment that captures everything we admire about her drive, attitude and heart. This year has been huge for her, and watching her leave absolutely everything out on the course is nothing short of inspiring.

Her latest video takes you behind the scenes, covering the full lead up, the emotion of race day, the support crew moments, and the celebrations that followed. It is an honest look at the highs, the fatigue, the gratitude and the pure commitment that makes Ella who she is.

We are proud to stand behind her and thrilled to be part of what she is building. Next year is set to be even bigger and we cannot wait to back her every step of the way.

What a week for The Carbon Project at the Wollongong World Triathlon Championships! 🏊‍♂️🚴‍♂️🏃‍♂️

We were proud to partner with BikeRental.cc, Australia’s premier performance bike rental company, to support 12 athletes from around the world on our brand-new TCP Eclipse bikes. Seeing them race on our machines in their world championship events was an incredible milestone for our young brand.

We also officially kicked off our partnership with AusTriathlon, producing 1,300 custom bottles for the Australian team and showcasing our new Eclipse Triathlon Bike at their tent.

There is simply no better value performance triathlon bike on the market today. Our TCP Eclipse Tri Bike with SRAM Force E1 AXS delivers elite-level performance at only $8,499 AUD.

A big thank you to everyone who stopped by, rode one of our bikes, or supported us throughout the week. This was only the beginning — exciting things ahead for The Carbon Project.

We’re proud to announce our partnership with AusTriathlon.

At The Carbon Project, we’ve always believed that performance should be accessible, and that building a strong future for triathlon starts here at home.

This partnership marks an exciting step as we work more closely with Triathlon Australia and their high-performance programs to help support the next generation of Australian athletes. From beginners finding their stride to elite competitors chasing seconds, we want to play a role in helping all levels of athletes go further.

Through our partner BikeRental.cc, we’re making it easier than ever to access performance bikes, whether you’re ready to try a triathlon bike for the first time, or just need a race-day setup without the pressure of a full purchase.

We’re excited about what’s ahead and look forward to working side by side with Triathlon Australia to help grow the sport across the country.

We’re proud to see these go out to athletes pushing their limits, and we can’t wait to see them in action on race day. Big news dropping next week. Introducing Our First Japanese Dealer: Michael Rice of Cycling GYPSY

We’re thrilled to announce that Michael Rice, the founder of Cycling GYPSY in Odawara, Japan, is our first official dealer in Japan for The Carbon Project’s carbon saddles.

Michael is a seasoned cyclist who has called Japan home for over 30 years. He has cycled more than 300,000 kilometers across the country, immersing himself in its landscapes and culture. His deep understanding of Japan’s cycling scene makes him an invaluable partner as we expand our presence in Asia.

Beyond his cycling endeavours, Michael is known for hosting the NHK World series “Cycle Around Japan,” where he showcases the beauty of Japan through cycling adventures. His passion for cycling and storytelling has inspired many to explore Japan on two wheels.

At Cycling GYPSY, Michael has created a hub for cyclists, offering not only high-quality gear but also a community for riders to connect and share their experiences. We’re honoured to have our carbon saddles available at his shop, where they can reach a broader audience of cycling enthusiasts.

We look forward to this partnership and the opportunity to support cyclists in Japan with our products.
