Physio isn’t working ?! Maybe 2 days after your treatment session .. you’re probably correct. Fixing a problem, especially when severe or chronic, takes time. Strength in itself, is hard to build, let alone dealing with pain too. Be sure to stay consistent and do the adequate work to fix your problem long term!

MYTH:

“Running destroys your knees.”

FACT:

The research actually suggests the opposite.

Multiple studies have found that recreational runners have similar—or even lower—rates of knee osteoarthritis compared to non-runners.

Like muscles, tendons and bones, your knees adapt to the loads placed upon them. Regular running can help maintain joint health, cartilage function, and overall physical health when progressed appropriately.

The problem isn’t usually running itself.

It’s often:
⚠️ Doing too much too soon
⚠️ Sudden increases in training volume
⚠️ Not allowing adequate recovery
⚠️ Ignoring persistent symptoms

What the Research Says

A large systematic review published in the Journal of Orthopaedic & Sports Physical Therapy found recreational runners had a lower prevalence of hip and knee osteoarthritis than sedentary individuals.

Another study published in Arthritis Care & Research found that running was not associated with worsening knee pain or structural progression in people with knee osteoarthritis

Fat loss doesn’t come from one “magic diet”
It comes from creating a calorie deficit ✅

There are MANY ways to achieve this, but these are 3 of the most effective and sustainable methods:

1️⃣ Time Restriction
Examples: intermittent fasting, not eating after certain times, eating within a time window.
➡️ Focuses on WHEN you eat.

2️⃣ Dietary Restrictions
Examples: lowering carbs, lowering fats, increasing protein, adjusting macros.
➡️ Focuses on WHAT you eat.

3️⃣ Calorie Restriction / Portion Control
Keeping all foods and nutrients balanced while controlling portion sizes and overall calories.
➡️ Focuses on HOW MUCH you eat.

💡 Different methods work for different people, lifestyles and preferences, but they ALL work because they create a calorie deficit.

❌ If no calorie deficit is created, fat loss will not occur, regardless of the method used.
