A tough day for our kids sides, who put in great effort against some strong teams.
The G13s turned the tide with a great 4-2 win to get the club firing, and the seniors carried that energy through — capped off by our Premier League side putting on a show with a stunning 7-1 victory. They are firmly the team to beat in the District’s flagship competition.

A huge thank you to everyone who came out to support the Lions this weekend. Your presence on the sidelines means everything to our players, young and old 🔴⚫️

Yagoona Lions BDL hand Revesby Rovers their first loss of the season with a huge 2-1 victory tonight.

Coming up against a side that was undefeated and hadn’t dropped a single point all year, the boys showed heart, discipline and fight from the first whistle to the last.

Big weekend ahead for the club with the rest of our teams all at home tomorrow. Come down, support the boys and girls, and get around the Lions family. 🦁⚫️🔴

Friday night kicks off with BDL under lights at Padstow Park, before a massive Saturday at home featuring our Youth, Opens and Senior squads across the day at O’Neill Park.

Celebrating 70 years in 2026: We go back 45 years to 1981 with our U18s in the traditional navy and white kit and original badge featuring a football as the club crest.
