Currently 41 degrees Celsius. Our local pool is open until 7pm. If you are there, please try to leave at 6.45pm so the staff can lock up and leave after a long hot day. Hope everyone is okay and many thanks to the staff. 👏🌟

🇦🇺 Australia Day – Mount Druitt Swimming Centre Opening 🇦🇺

Following on from our recent post about the End of an Era celebration at Mount Druitt Swimming Centre, we’d like to clarify that the centre will be open on Australia Day from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

This will be the final day of trading before the centre temporarily closes for renovations, which will deliver a modern, refreshed Mount Druitt Swimming Centre for the community.

We look forward to welcoming you on the day and thank you for your continued support as we prepare for this exciting next chapter.

‘After more than 50 years of serving the community, Mount Druitt Swimming Centre will close on Monday 26 January 2026 to prepare for its redevelopment under the NSW Government’s Western Sydney Infrastructure Grants program.

To celebrate the centre’s long and proud history and to mark the beginning of an exciting new chapter, the community is invited to an ‘End of an era’ celebration on Saturday 24 January 2026.’
