LGBTQIA+ community football (soccer) club for women & non-binary people. Based in Eora/Sydney, Australia. Est 1985.

Our Club has a wide and varied membership with players ranging in age from 18 to.... well, that would be telling! While we are primarily a le***an club, we welcome ALL sexualities. Our Club welcomes and registers cis and trans women and nonbinary people as members. A significant proportion of our 100+ players and multitude of supporters live in the Inner Western Suburbs of Sydney and the rest cover a wide area. The Flying Bats are serious about football but we're also serious about having fun. We are a very social club and are always out and about

🎥 FBFC PRIDE ROUND 2026 🌈⚽🥰

Our second annual Pride Round, in partnership with NWSF and Pride Cup, was an amazing success and we are so grateful for such a fun, fulfilling and exciting day together!

🏳️‍🌈 FBFC PRIDE ROUND 2026 🦇

Hosted on the unceded lands of the Wallumedegal Clan of the Darug Nation, our second annual Pride Round, in partnership with NWSF and Pride Cup, is a celebration of inclusion, visibility and the community we're building together.

Across the day, the Flying Bats will take to the pitch at 11am, 1pm and 3pm, with plenty happening on and off the field. Grab something from our BBQ or bake sale, pick up some Bats merch, watch us bring a brand new Pride mural to life on the canteen wall, and add your own message to our interactive Pride Wall.

Whether you're a player, supporter, family member, partner, friend, ally or simply curious to see what Pride Round is all about, we'd love to have you there. Bring your favourite people (and your pups!) and help us celebrate a future where everyone knows they belong in football.

Trivia Night 2026 ✨

This year we headed to a new venue, took on a new format and had heaps of new and exciting prizes. We can't thank Poor Toms Oltra enough for helping us put on such an amazing night.

Shoutout to our hosts with the most and .back.king, all of our partners and sponsors for their generous donations, and all the volunteers who helped us pull together the best night ever. We couldn't have done it without you.

Our games were washed out this weekend, but our club's commitment to accountability in sport remains steadfast. This weekend we honour all of the women who suffer at the hands of gender based violence in Australia. Violence in sport is an all too common reality for so many of us. As a q***r community club, we exist at the intersection of gender-based and homophobic violence. This poses a real threat to our safety and ability to participate in the sport we love. Today we Wear Red in solidarity and to raise awareness so that every woman can feel safe on the pitch.
