Meet our 4 happy little underwater mermaids- Evie, Lola, Paige & Kora!

These four have been swimming together at Southern since they were babies, and are still swimming together now in our Orcas level. At just 5 years old, they are swimming all four strokes, and powering up and down the pool doing lap after lap!

And they’re not just swimming for fun anymore… Paige & Kora even took on their first 25 metre and 50m races at Aquadot Swim Club last Friday night!

We absolutely love watching these four grow, learn and have so much fun in the water together.

Poppy has just turned 3 and is already such a little legend in the water!

Calm, confident and completely relaxed, Poppy moves through the water with beautiful breath control and true independence. Most importantly, she’s happy, having fun and loving every moment.

And that’s exactly what we aim for at Southern: young, independent and happy swimmers who feel confident in the water and can enjoy the lifelong gift of swimming. 💦

Southern Swim Skills & Smiles Week
Join us from Monday 29 June to Sunday 5 July for a special week of learning, games, challenges, and celebrations as we wrap up the first half of the year together!
While the fun will be turned up a notch, skill development will remain our focus. Our swimmers can look forward to plenty of exciting activities, smiles, and achievements as we continue building confidence and progress in the water.
Following Skills & Smiles Week, Southern will be closed for our mid year break from Monday 6 July to Sunday 19 July. This short closure gives our amazing staff and swimmers a well deserved opportunity to rest, recharge, and get ready for an exciting second half of the year.
We can't wait to celebrate with you all and finish the first half of our year on a high!

Learning a super important water safety skill: a fall in, recovery back to the wall and climbing safely out again- all in the happiest way possible.
Skill building will always grow best alongside happiness and confidence in the water, especially when mums and dads also stay relaxed, join in, and have a ball too.
We’re so lucky to have our amazing, funny, and skilled teacher Bec guiding so many of our little swimmers on their journey.

There’s nothing better than seeing our Southern kids this relaxed and confident in the pool. A special shoutout to little Charlotte, just 2 years old, and calmly nailing the skills, and loving it!
We’re also excited to share some news: bookings will reopen for a very limited intake on Monday, 4 May, and this will be for weekday classes only, for all ages.
