More often than not, neck strain/discomfort during core exercises is caused by our posture throughout the day.*
It stands to reason that, working our neck muscles in multiple directions is going to increase the neck’s capacity to hold your head in any position.
Try small short intervals of holding your neck off your pillow and see if you notice your discomfort in class reduce.

Happy Mothers Day to all the mums of F45 Lane Cove and beyond!
A slightly more memorable Mother’s Day workout for Peta, the coach for the class being her son; Coach Ryan!
Peta has been training at F45 Lane Cove for literally half of Ryan’s life, now he’s in the studio on the other side of the blue track! Talk about a full circle moment!
Here’s to another year of burpees for Peta and home made burritos for Ryan…not a bad trade we think! 🫶💕

Reset Phase 2 REWIRE begins this week!
The focus of this phase is activation. You’ll see the introduction of physical therapy-style drills, corrective exercises and activation techniques to engage smaller stabilising muscles. This phase is broken up into 4 workouts, each with a different focus area of the body.
