🏆 State Cup Update

On Sunday, 31 May, 7teams went head-to-head in the Quarter Finals of the State Cup, with 4teams securing their place in the Football NSW State Cup Semi Finals.

Football book just made history

We're Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, the authors of Luna Roo: The Kangaroo Baller — and we're incredibly proud to share with the Australian football community.

Our children's football book has been selected as the 2026 National Simultaneous Storytime (NSS) book — the first ever sport book chosen in the event's 26-year history. On Wednesday 27 May, over 2 million kids across Australia will read Luna Roo at the same time in schools, libraries and homes nationwide.

NSS will also be broadcast on free-to-air television through SBS

It couldn’t be tighter at the top! Colo Soccer Football Club & Blue Mountains Football Club are locked together on points and goal difference 🤯

The big question now is whether Lowland Wanderers Soccer Club rediscovering their form and continue applying pressure on the leaders. and Penrith FC—after recording two recent draws—will be eager to and push themselves into the top two.

Ruby Wrap Up
It’s just as tight over in the Ruby League, with more close results across the board! 👊
Jamisontown Giants FC picked up a win over Blue Mountains, while Springwood United Football Club Inc. and Hazelbrook Hawks Football Club couldn’t be split, sharing the points 🤝
That opens the door for Lowlands, who are now in 3rd outright and building momentum 📈

What a weekend of football!
In the Waratah League, it was all square in two exciting clashes — Colo Soccer Football Club and Blue Mountains Football Club couldn’t be split in a thrilling 2–2 draw, while Glenmore Park Football Club and Penrith Rovers FC delivered a high-scoring battle finishing 4–4 👏

Over in the Ruby League, Lowland Wanderers Soccer Club continued their strong form, edging out competition leaders Colo Soccer Football Club with a tight 2–1 victory 💪
