Here’s how I start my mornings 💫
1. When I wake up, I take a few minutes in an upright position sitting in silence, allowing the body and mind to wake up slowly. No phone, just sitting, observing my breathe and what’s around me. No speaking, just letting my brain start the day in a quiet and calm state.
2. Appreciation - Think of 2-3 things that you are grateful for and say them a few times so they become familiar and you truly acknowledge them.
3. Affirmations - Come up with a power word or mini sentence. Keep your eyes closed and continually say your affirmations.
4. Visualisation - Picture yourself in a situation within your day. Visualise yourself in that moment in a calm, confident and happy state. Do this again and again until you become familiar and comfortable with the situation. When this particular situation happens in your day, you will have already been there and lived it. Your subconscious will be more comfortable and able to handle the stresses much better.
5. Exercise - Complete a form of movement or exercise. This can be anything that makes you feel wholesome and enriched. Yoga, Pilates, writing, strength training, cardio, walking..
6. Recovery - Nourish your body with the right foods and nutrients. Do some quick recovery exercises like stretching or foam rolling.
Now you have completed your SAAVER training, you are now ahead of the game and are ready to achieve greatness. Go and win the day you bloody legend. 💫
