Raised in New Zealand and living by the credo "life is not a dress-rehearsal", Liz's love of travel took her to New York where a one year posting became a 15 year stay. Roles at Tourism New Zealand and a leading South Pacific Tour operator provided a training ground which instilled in her a competitive and professional work ethic that has remained her touch stone. The lure of

the South Pacific and warmer temperatures took her to French Polynesia for a grownup's gap year with an eventual reluctant return to responsibility leading to a Sydney relocation. While holding management & senior business development roles at luxury boutique hotel brands including Small Luxury Hotels of the World, and The Charming Hotels Liz established strong and enduring relationship with the managers and owners of leading Australian & NZ travel agencies and coal face sellers of luxury travel. A homing instinct saw her return to New Zealand for 3 years as International Director of Sales, Marketing & Media for The Huka Retreats - a portfolio of three 5 star boutique properties- including the iconic Huka Lodge, New Zealand and sister properties - Grande Provence Estate, South Africa and Dolphin Island, Fiji. Returning to Sydney she made the decision to put her sales & marketing travel and tourism experience and reputation as an expert in the field of luxury hotel brands and tourism marketing to good use by establishing her representation business in March 2012 with the intention to build a deliberately small portfolio of luxury boutique hotels & resorts. Extensive research trips throughout the South Pacific and Asia to source and critique new member properties combined with frequent trips to South Africa, France Italy and the UK in recent years have further contributed to an exceptional comprehension of the luxury hotel global landscape. Liz provides a consistently high level of service to an exacting and sophisticated clientele providing integrated sales & marketing representation services to clients seeking to establish an Australian & New Zealand foot print through strategic geographic coverage into all premium segments of the luxury travel market.

I am just returned from my 10th stay at Kamalaya Koh Samui and what an exceptional experience. I am very privileged to represent this unique Wellness Sanctuary and Holistic Spa.

This time I chose the 5-day Structural Revival wellness program which is designed to Increase mobility and flexibility, reduce structural tension and discomfort and provides the tools to continue progress at home. Recommended for Improvement of posture, for those sitting at desks for long periods (sounds familiar…) and rehabilitation after injury or surgery.

I started with a Body Bio-Impedance Analysis (BIA) which is a method for estimating body composition. I’m not one to boast, but…. I came top of grade with a Platinum Tru Body Score which you can only achieve if you have a highly advantageous muscle to fat ratio. Who knew!

Working with a Physiotherapist, Wellness Consultant and the Fitness Team my treatments included Traditional Asian Foot Massage with Herbal Foot Soak. Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy. Super Stretching with Fitness Trainer, Myofascial Release Therapy & Revival Exercise and Pilates Sessions.

Combined with daily complimentary group holistic activities, time out at their 25-metre lap pool and steam cavern and Kamalaya’s wonderful healthy, inspired cuisine which combines Eastern and Western culinary traditions; it wasthe perfect rest reset and revive experience!

Suspended from the glass ceiling above #Aperture, Meadow by DRIFT comprises of 19 mechanised polyester-lined lanterns, whose hypnotic dance mimics the umbrella-shaped petals of Australian wildflowers in the landscape as they slowly open and close above.
