Our morning baby classes are thoughtfully designed for families on parental leave who are looking for meaningful and developmentally appropriate activities.

Smaller class sizes and a calm pool environment allow instructors to work closely with each child while supporting parents throughout the learning process.

At Advantage Aquatics, we have 8 members of staff either working towards, or who have completed their certification through Autism Swim. The training that our staff will receive means that these teachers will be able to specialise in teaching children with autism and other abilities. They will learn how to understand our swimmers better and make better adaptations to suit the students along the way. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to learn in a way that is conducive to their needs, and we are so proud of the steps these staff members are taking to create an even more inclusive learn to swim experience for our adapted aquatics students."

Practice Makes Perfect! It is easy to make a correlation between the distance your child can swim, and their success in swimming lessons. You may be wondering why you don't see children swimming lap after lap of the pool when you are at the pool for your lessons. Actually, distance and endurance are the LAST piece of the puzzle when learning to swim. It is important to learn the correct body position in the water, as well as stroke and kick technique, before adding longer distances into the mix. A swimmer attempting to swim a longer distance without a solid grounding in these aspects of swimming will easily fatigue and become a danger to themselves. Practice makes perfect.
