Country Boys Tamworth is introducing our Captain for the Success Avenue T10 Smash - Nithin V John.
We are excited to share this milestone with supporters and cricket fans, and we look forward to playing the first tournament under Nithin's captaincy, wearing our revamped jersey!

Nithin started his cricketing journey with CBTCC in 2015. As our lead fast bowler with a strong track record, he has played Grade-2 cricket with TCDA since 2016 and had a terrific 2025-26 season with the Old Boys cricket club, inspiring confidence in his leadership.

Country Boys are all set to bring the fire back to the ground at the upcoming Success Avenue T10 Smash, and we can't wait to see what Nithin and the team will achieve!

🚨 8-A-Side LEAUGE UPDATE 🚨

It’s with sadness that we say goodbye to one of our 8-A-side indoor ticket teams due to internal movement within the league. 💔 FIM, under the leadership of Harry Burkett, has built a strong team with talented players and high standards. 👏🏏

But with change comes new opportunities! 🌟 We’re thrilled to welcome a fresh team to our competitive indoor cricket lineup—The Country Boys! 🤠🏏 This team brings excitement, passion, and a fierce drive to succeed, all while staying true to our core values. 🔥💪

And that’s not all—Harry Burkett will still be umpiring our 8-a-side indoor cricket AND is looking at putting a team into our 6-a-side Wednesday afternoon competition! 🙌🏆

Country Boys Tamworth bid farewell to our second and long-serving captain Jinto aka captain Cleetus yesterday. Wishing you all the best with your new adventure.

WPL edition 6 was the last of the Super 8 comps. We were the first champions of WPL edition 1 in 2016.

This time, even with only handful of players we performed as good as the first time. Congratulations to Captian Jinto bhai and every member of the team.

We won against Cricket Association Trivandrum (Sydney) yesterday on a huge margin. Second game was a bit tight and we lost to Gong Tuskers ( Wollongong ) by few runs. And we came back hard and won a great match against Newcastle Hunters A in style.

On her address to the gathering, Hon. MP Emma McBride mentioned our effort in driving all the way to Gosford and participating in one of the biggest Multicultural sporting events in NSW.
