⚠️ REMINDER - TRAFFIC DELAY ⚠️

A reminder to all attending the North West Primary athletics trial on Friday there will be delays in traffic due to the Tamworth Show and planned roadworks.

Please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to spare prior to your event commencement time.

⚽️ NSWPSSA BOYS FOOTBALL ⚽️

The North West Primary boys football team are in Salamanda Bay this week for the state championships.

They are about to kick off their first game against Polding, good luck boys!

The North West Primary girls' rugby 7s team are in Kiama this week for the state championships.

What a stunning location to play some rugby, right on the ocean's edge.

A sincere thank you to Sam and Peta for leading the girls this week, good luck to you all and enjoy the experience.

North West Regional Primary Athletics Trials – Friday 4 September 2026

📋Programs will be available to purchase for $3.00 each, correct money is appreciated. The program will include a QR code to the results from the day

🚴‍♂️Please be mindful that there could be cyclists on the criterium track which circles the athletics track

⚠️Tamworth Regional Council do not permit tent pegs, please use weights to secure any gazebos/shade where required

🧦Apparel will be available for sale on the day only, cash and EFTPOS are accepted

🏃‍➡️1500 metre competitors should arrive at 7:45am for an 8:00am marshal

☕️BBQ, drinks and coffee available for purchase, your support of these facilities is greatly appreciated

🌧️The athletics track is an all-weather track, even if there is a chance of rain, the trials will still go ahead

⏰The times given for the program of events are approximates only, all blocks will commence immediately following the previous event

‼️IMPORTANT INFORMATION ‼️ Please ensure you arrive with plenty of time to spare prior to your event start time to allow for possible road works and parking, The Tamworth Show will be taking place at the AELEC at the same time as well as some road works, as a result the increased traffic volumes may cause some delays for attendees travelling to a from the venue. To help minimise any disruption, traffic wardens will be onsite to assist with traffic management and vehicle movements

The North West Primary boys and girls touch football teams are in Coffs Harbour this week competing in a three day championship against teams from across the state.

The boys are taking on Hunter and the girls are playing MacKillop first up this morning.

Thank you to Ash and Will who are coaching the teams and good luck to you all!

The North West Primary boys softball team is in North Curl Curl this week competing in a 3-day championship.

The boys take on Sydney East first up this morning followed by Western.

Good luck boys and thank you to our coach Cara and manager Keeley for leading the team.

Our primary boys’ rugby union team is in Mudgee, playing in the NSWPSSA state championships.

Their first game against Riverina this morning was a tough one, but they’re all set to face Hunter and CIS this afternoon.
