Barossa Rams Rugby Club In 2007 the club fielded two teams for the first time, Reserve Grade and 4th Division with both teams playing in finals. A side in the U10’s.

Previously situated at Lyndoch, now moving forward to bigger and better things, starting with the brand-new Barossa Rams Rugby Club Facility in Tanunda, Barossa Valley SA
We field teams in Senior Men's and Women's Premier Grade and Juniors (U7 - U18) Formerly The Roseworthy Rams RUFC, the club relocated at the beginning of the 2006 season when funding from Adelaide University, Roseworthy Campus was withdrawn. Having played in Grand Finals in 2004 (4th Div) and 2005 (3rd Div),The Rams went through 2006 season undefeated, finishing with a victory over Brighton in the Grand Final to take out the 3rd Division title. In 2008 the club took a big step with the introduction of junior rugby in the Barossa Valley. In 2009 we were fielding two junior teams. One in the U8 and one in the U14 age groups. In 2010 we have added another junior side to our ever growing club. We are happy to announce in 2011 we continue to grow by adding and Under 12’s and Under 16’s. The number of senior sides to be fielded is yet to be decided, but rest assured that The Rams will be playing in the second grade as a minimum. The club is now located at 44 Magnolia Road Tanunda, in the famous Barossa Valley w**e region of South Australia. We have a base of local players boosted by visitors from interstate and overseas who are working in the local area.

Have had a request for helpers for a bbq and food service first weekend in October (long weekend)

On the October long weekend this year. I require helpers to serve food. All the food is organised, we just need
Some people to cook bbqs (we will supply) and help serve the food.
Would your club have any people available? They can either be personally paid, or a donation can be made to your club
In lieu of their help. Helpers are required for Friday evening 2nd October, Saturday morning and evening 3rd October and Sunday morning
And evening 4th October. We obviously don’t expect people to be able to do all the shifts, but even a few people here and there
Would be amazing.

What a way to finish off another fantastic season for our Junior Rams! 🐏🏉

Last night was all about celebrating our kids – their hard work, improvement, teamwork, friendships and all the fun they’ve had along the way.

A HUGE congratulations to all of our trophy and shield winners! 🏆🛡️👏 Very well deserved, and we are so proud of each and every one of our Junior Rams.

There were presentations, burgers, chips, plenty of laughs and, of course, we finished the night off with the kids hitting the dance floor for a disco! 🍔🍟🕺💃 Safe to say they still had plenty of energy left after a full season of rugby! 😂

A massive thank you to our coaches, managers, volunteers, parents and families who give their time and support throughout the season – junior rugby simply wouldn’t happen without you. 🖤🩷

Most importantly, thank you to our amazing kids for another year of rugby, friendships, fun and making us proud to be Rams.

That’s a wrap on 2026 – bring on 2027! 🐏🏉🖤🩷

What a way to wrap up another year at the Rams!
Last night we celebrated our 2026 Senior Presentation Night, recognising some very well-deserving award winners and the people who have made a huge contribution to our club throughout the season. 👏🐏

A great dinner, plenty of laughs, a few drinks and an all-round brilliant night spent with our Rams family.
Thank you to everyone who came along and helped make the night such a great one, and to everyone who has been part of our 2026 season!
